Rayagada: In a shocking incident, over 40 miscreants stormed Rayagada Autonomous College and attacked students leaving three critically injured.

The attackers, believed to be outsiders, forced their way into the college by breaking the gate, vandalized property, and assaulted students, leaving them bleeding profusely.

The victims, Prashant Majhi, Akhil, and another student, were rushed to Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital by ambulance. Majhi suffered severe head injuries, requiring seven stitches, while Akhil also sustained head injuries. Both students are currently undergoing treatment.

College Principal expressed concern over the recurring incidents of violence at the institution, stating that despite similar incidents occurring over the past three years, no permanent solution has been implemented by the police administration. The motive behind these attacks remains unclear, leaving college authorities and students bewildered.
