Bhubaneswar: A three-year-old boy went missing while playing near the house in Raipur village under Soro police station in Balasore district. The incident took place on New Year.
The missing child is Shubham, son of Mohan Sahu of Raipur village. The family and villagers searched various ponds, railway stations, bus stands and other places. The whereabouts of the boy could not be found.
The family in despair lodged a complaint with police following which police with sniffer dogs launched a search operation.
The fire brigade conducted a search operation in the pond in the village in apprehension of drowning.
