Addressing the media, DCP Mishra explained that comprehensive security measures had been put in place for the festival.

“Lakhs of devotees are expected to visit the Lingaraj temple tomorrow to offer prayers. We have already made all necessary arrangements for traffic management, safety, and security. Emergency services, including fire brigades, have also been arranged,” he said.

He further mentioned that around 40 platoons of police forces and more than 100 police officers of various ranks would be present at the Lingaraj temple tomorrow.
