Bhubaneswar: The 4th Project Governing Committee for Rengali Left Canal was held on Monday. The Governing Committee was chaired by Anu Garg, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Water Resources.
While 59% work is complete, focus is now on expediting balance issues with Railway/NHAI, land acquisition & forest diversion for timely completion. Strategic water use & JICA’s community impact and farmers empowerment were also discussed.
