Keonjhar: Additional District & Sessions Judge, Keonjhar on Wednesday awarded death sentence to five persons after convicting them in the sensational 2019 Ramchandra Behera murder case of Dhakotha village under Ghasipura Assembly Constituency of Keonjhar.
The Court awarded death sentences to Sanjay Prusty, Ajit Prusty, Arun Prusty, Alekh Prusty and Dola Boitei based on statements of 53 witnesses.
One of the accused Pramod Das who was a minor then is under judicial custody of Keonjhar Juvenile Justice Board.
In 2019 on March 25 at around 10.00 PM, the accused persons called Ramchandra from his home and then brutally murdered him by chopping off his lower and upper limbs.
