Angul: At least five persons died after a car they were travelling in rammed into a stationary truck on National Highway 149 near Kantiapasi in Angul district late Monday night.
The deceased persons have been identified as Dilip Kumar Sahu, Bapun Kumar Sahu, Ranu Pradhan, Gaura Chandra Sahu, and Pinu Sahu. All residents of Injidi in the district.
All of them were returning from Palalhada to Injidi when the mishap occurred. While three of them died on the spot, two others succumbed in the hospital.
