Bhubaneswar: Utkarsh Odisha 2025- The Make in Odisha Conclave organised by the state government in January 2025 saw participation from over 5,241 industrialists from within and outside the state.
This was revealed by Minister of Industries and Skill Development & Technical Education, Sampad Chandra Swain in response to a query raised by MLA Prasanna Acharya in the Odisha Assembly on Friday.
Acharya sought details on participation, government expenditure, MoUs signed, and investments made in the mega event.
Replying to Acharya’s queries, the Minister informed that the conclave witnessed 145 entities signing MoUs with the state government for investments worth Rs 1,289,363.61 crore.
According to the Minister, work on investments worth Rs 2.04 lakh crore has already commenced. As for the expenditure on the Utkarsh Odisha 2025 programme, Rs 65,40,94,333 has been spent as of September 15, 2025.
