Bhubaneswar: A total of 6,985 Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Producers Groups (PGs ) are being supported under ORMAS marketing initiatives during the financial year 2025-26, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik informed the state assembly on Tuesday.
In a written reply to a question by Bhawanipatna MLA Sagar Charan Das, Minister Naik said the initiatives have provided significant support to these groups.
He further stated that rural fairs and other marketing platforms have generated sales worth Rs 345.23 crore during FY 2025-26, highlighting the growing impact of ORMAS in promoting rural entrepreneurship.
