7 Arrested In Aul Robbery Case; Looted Items, Weapons Seized

Aul robbery gang arrested

Bhubaneswar: The Aul police in Kendrapara district arrested seven members of a dacoity gang on Saturday in connection with a robbery at Prabhakar Pradhan’s residence in Angarakh village on the evening of December 4.

Police recovered around 30 grams of gold, 240 grams of silver, ₹46,000 in cash, and six mobile phones stolen during the robbery. Additionally, one pistol, two choppers, and three motorcycles used by the gang during the heist were seized, police said.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Pradip Mallik, Sanjay Mallik, Jayant Rout, Kiran Sethi, Sk Mustakim, Hrushikesh Mallik, and Ramchandra Sahu. Police have filed charges against the accused and are continuing their investigation to determine the gang’s involvement in other criminal activities.
