Bhubaneswar: Khordha police today arrested nine persons for assaulting Chilika MLA Prasanta Jagadev on March 12.
Under orders of Superintendent of Police, Khordha, a team of the Special Squad led by Balugaon Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) apprehended the nine accused from the jungle near Old Bankadagarh palace, in Nihalprasad area, said a press communiqué issued by Khordha district police.
The accused were produced before the JMFC Banapur.
