Addl Chief Secretary To Odisha CM Inaugurates Blood Donation Camp At HDFC Bank

Bhubaneswar: Nikunja Bihari Dhal, Additional Chief Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister, inaugurated a blood donation camp at the bank’s Sachivalaya branch.

The initiative, organised in collaboration with Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar, aimed to address the critical need for blood donations in the state.

Speaking at the event, Dhal lauded HDFC Bank’s efforts to promote social responsibility through such impactful initiatives. “Blood donation is a noble cause that saves lives. I commend HDFC Bank for their proactive role in organising this camp and encourage more institutions to follow their lead,” said Dhal.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from bank employees, customers, and residents. Trained medical professionals ensured that all donations were conducted safely and efficiently. The collected blood units were sent to Capital Hospital supporting their mission to provide critical healthcare services.

The event concluded with the Additional Chief Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister emphasising the importance of such initiatives in building a healthier and more compassionate society.

HDFC Bank conducted various camps across Odisha in a single day. The bank has collected successfully 17,000 units.
