Bhubaneswar: Train operations were disrupted on Saturday following protests by members of the Adivasi Kudmi Samaj at multiple locations under the South Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The demonstrations led to the diversion of three trains originating from Odisha, East Coast Railway (ECoR) informed.
To ensure passenger safety and maintain smooth train movement, the affected trains have been rerouted as follows:
- 18309 Sambalpur – Jammu Tawi Express: Diverted via Ib, Bilaspur, Katni, Manikpur, and Prayagraj.
- 15027 Sambalpur – Gorakhpur Express: Diverted via Ib, Bilaspur, Katni, Manikpur, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya.
- 20817 Bhubaneswar – New Delhi Express: Diverted via Ib, Bilaspur, Katni, Manikpur, and Prayagraj.
Passengers are urged to monitor updates through official railway channels to avoid inconvenience.
