Bhubaneswar: Athletics Federation of India (AFI) president Adille Sumariwalla visited Kalinga Stadium today, and took a round of India’s first-ever indoor athletics stadium that is coming up within the stadium premises.
Sumariwalla was accompanied by Sports Secretary R Vineel Krishna and officials of the Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) of the State government.
The AFI president also interacted with the athletes of the Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletics HPC.
Appreciating the world-class infrastructure created by the State government to promote sports, he encouraged the HPC athletes to maximize the facilities and opportunities made available to them.
