Bhubaneswar: In a first of its kind, Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be mobilized to monitor the annual high school examination that is scheduled to commence from February 20.
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has decided to use the AI technology in the examination.
Addressing a press conference, BSE President Ramashis Hazra said AI-powered high-security cameras will be installed at strategic places including strong rooms, DEO offices, and examination halls.
A command room will keep a vigil on the examination activities.
In case of any discrepancies, the AI will inform the operators at the command room, he added.
The exam which will start on February 20, will continue till March 4. There will be only one sitting a day.
As many as 5, 51,611 students will appear for the exam at 2,991 centres across the State.
The BSE authorities have also announced the exam schedule. The evaluation will start from March 15.
