Bhubaneswar: AIIMS Bhubaneswar has strengthened its position among India’s premier medical institutions by securing the 10th rank in the India Today–MDRA Best Medical Colleges Survey 2026, officials said on Monday.
The institute also achieved the 2nd position among the Top 5 Most Improved Medical Colleges in the country, highlighting its rapid progress in medical education, research, and patient care.
This milestone reflects AIIMS Bhubaneswar’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, cutting-edge research, and compassionate patient care. The survey, conducted by leading media house India Today in association with Marketing & Development Research Associates (MDRA), evaluated institutions across five key parameters: intake quality and governance, academic excellence, infrastructure and living experience, personality and leadership development, and placement and career progression.
Celebrating the achievement, Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, remarked, “This recognition is a reflection of our relentless pursuit of excellence.
