Ailing Ollywood Actor Pintu Nanda Shifted To Hyderabad

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Pintu Nanda who was who has been diagnosed to be suffering from cirrhosis of liver and was undergoing treatment at the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) in New Delhi was shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad today.

Nanda was shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad for liver transplantation. His condition is stated to be stable.

“Now Pintu’s health condition is stable and this is the right time to get him shifted. He has been shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad where liver transplantation is done almost daily. There, one has to register to get organ from donors anywhere in India which has been done in Pintu’s case,” informed senior Ollywood actor Sritam Das.

Das said that they are trying their best to get a donor and added that even the Andhra Pradesh government has been requested for the same.

Before leaving for New Delhi, Nanda was  undergoing treatment at a private hospital here for cirrhosis of liver. Doctors treating him here had advised him to go for a liver transplant.

Members of the Odisha Cine Artist Association had also carried out a fundraising campaign for the popular Ollywood actor’s treatment.
