Ammonia Gas Leak: Toll Rises To 13 With Death Of Another Odisha Woman

Bhubaneswar: The death toll in the Tamil Nadu ammonia gas leak has risen to 13. Another young woman from Odisha died while undergoing treatment in Chennai.

The deceased has been identified as Budhabari Naik. She was from Dhanari Sahi of Alluri Panchayat, under Khamar police station in Angul district.She was undergoing treatment in the ICU of a Chennai-based hospital.

On Saturday, a Juanga woman from Keonjhar district also succumbed at a hospital in Chennai.

The Odisha government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased workers.
