Bhubaneswar: In response to the severe heatwave conditions, the Women and Child Development Department has directed all district collectors in Odisha to operate Anganwadi Centres from 7 AM to 9 AM. This decision comes under the instructions of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

The department has also advised district Collectors to declare holidays for Anganwadi Centres in their respective districts if the heatwave conditions worsen. This move aims to ensure the safety and well-being of children and staff during the extreme weather.
