Angul: A young girl on Tuesday went missing after being swept away in a stream at Sunabhuin village in Basala panchayat under Bantala police limits of Angul district.
According to reports, locals and fire brigade personnel have launched a search operation to rescue the missing girl.
The missing girl identified as Priti Behera was returning home after attending college when the mishap took place.
While she was crossing the stream on her bicycle she was swept away by a sudden gush of water.
