Bhubaneswar: The Regional Plant Resource Centre (RPRC) will organise the Annual Flower Show 2026 at Ekamra Kanan in the Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar from January 9 to January 11, officials said on Wednesday.
The three-day flower show will be open to visitors from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm every day. Entry to the exhibition will be free and the organisers have made arrangements for free parking of vehicles to ensure convenience for visitors.
According to the RPRC, the event will showcase a wide variety of flowers and ornamental plants at one location. More than 65 stalls, including plant stalls, food stalls, open nursery stalls and other display units, will be set up during the exhibition.
RPRC Architectural Assistant Kananalata Sahoo said that the flower show is expected to attract a large number of visitors this year. She added that major attractions will include a large floral structure and over eight specially designed selfie points for the public.
“We invite people from all age groups to visit and enjoy the exhibition,” she said.
Meanwhile, President of the Plant Lovers Association, Khirod Pattanayak, said that many participants from different parts of the state are expected to take part in the event. He also informed that cultural programmes, including music and dance performances, will be organised during the three-day show, adding to its festive appeal.
