Arabinda Kumar Padhee Promoted To Addl Chief Secretary Rank

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has promoted two senior IAS officers, Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee and Sushil Kumar Lohani, to the Apex Grade, effective January 1, 2026.

Dr Padhee, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary and will continue in his current position until further orders.

Dr Padhee, currently serving as Principal Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, and chief administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), has been recognised for his outstanding service.

Sushil Kumar Lohani, a 1995-batch IAS officer, has been granted proforma promotion to the Apex Grade.
