Armed Robbery At Utkal Grameen Bank In Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: In a daring daylight robbery, three armed men struck the Utkal Grameen Bank branch located near National Highway 49 under Rengali police station today afternoon.

According to reports, the robbers, all wearing helmets, entered the bank around 2pm, brandished firearms, and looted a significant sum of cash. The exact amount stolen is yet to be confirmed.

Rengali police reached the scene promptly and have launched an investigation. Police suspect that the criminals fled towards the Chhattisgarh border. As a precautionary measure, police have sealed the connecting road to prevent their escape.

Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
