Bhubaneswar: The Judicial Commission probing the alleged atrocity of Bharatpur police on an Indian Army officer and his fiancée case on Saturday issued notifications in this connection.
The Commission headed by former High Court Judge Justice Chittaranjan Dash has also invited open affidavits from stakeholders, including the complainants, police, and the general public, to gather information and clues about the incident.

Meanwhile, the Commission started work at the office set up in the Special Circuit House in Bhubaneswar.
Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) YB Khurania and other senior officials were present when the probe process was initiated. The Odisha government has already released the term of reference for the Commission of Inquiry.
Notably, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi ordered a judicial probe after the alleged custodial assault on the Army Captain and his girlfriend created a nationwide uproar.
The Commission has been asked to submit its findings to the government within 60 days.
