Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida on Monday extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesh for peace, prosperity and the continued progress of the state.
In his message, Majhi wished people happiness, peace, prosperity and success on the auspicious occasion. Invoking Lord Ganesh, revered as the remover of obstacles, the chief minister prayed that the path of Odisha’s development would become smoother.
“Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone on the sacred occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. With the blessings of Lord Shri Ganesh, the remover of obstacles, may everyone’s life be filled with happiness, peace, prosperity and success,” Majhi said in a post on social media platform X.
He also prayed for the state’s continued progress and development, expressing hope that Odisha would move ahead with greater momentum.
Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, in his Ganesh Chaturthi message, emphasised the importance of wisdom, determination and righteousness in overcoming challenges.
“On the sacred occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, may the divine presence of Shri Ganesh Ji awaken wisdom within us, dissolve every obstacle before us, and give strength to walk the path of righteousness,” he said in a post on X.
Singh Deo further wished that every new beginning would be guided by faith, every endeavour strengthened by determination and every heart filled with peace.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida also extended her greetings to the people on the occasion, praying for happiness and prosperity in every household.
“Many, many greetings to everyone on the sacred festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, dedicated to Lord Shri Ganesh, the remover of obstacles. By the grace of Lord Shri Ganesh, may every family be filled with happiness and prosperity,” Parida said in a post on X.
She also prayed for Odisha to continue moving forward on the path of new hope, new possibilities and development.
The messages from the state’s top leadership came as people across Odisha prepared to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with religious fervour. Devotees traditionally worship Lord Ganesh, seeking his blessings for wisdom, prosperity and the removal of obstacles, while community celebrations are held at several places across the state.
