Bhubaneswar: The auspicious time for the opening of RatnaBhandar is 1.28 pm, informed Justice Biswanath Rath, the chairman of the high-level committee set up to supervise the inventorisation of ornaments and other valuables stored in Ratna Bhandar.
According to sources, a crucial meeting of the high-level committee was held at 10 am today, ahead of the opening of Ratna Bhandar. The members of the high-level committee had a detailed discussion regarding the standard operating procedure (SOP) and other key aspects, paving the way for the inspection and opening of Ratna Bhandar.
Following the end of the meeting, Rath informed the media that the auspicious time for the opening of RatnaBhandar is 1.28 pm. And 11 members will enter the temple. We have surrendered before the Lord before undertaking the work. At the high-level Committee meeting, we have selected members and the process will start to enter the temple after 1 pm.
Apart from Two members of the Committee, Chairman Justice Biswanath Rath and CBK Mohanty, an ASI member, the district Collector and the servitors who are in charge of the Ratna Bhandar like ‘Bhandar Mekap’ and ‘Tadau Karan’.
It is learnt that there will also be a medical team and snake helpline members on standby. They won’t go inside the treasure trove. If required, they will be allowed.
