Bhubaneswar: The father of the minor girl of Balanga who died during treatment at AIIMS-Delhi has made a heartfelt appeal to the political parties not to politicise his daughter’s death. Expressing gratitude towards the government, he stated that the government had done everything possible to save his daughter’s life.
The grieving father attributed his daughter’s demise to her mental distress. He said that she was not in his fortune. He requested that people and political leaders refrain from politicising the tragic event and instead focus on praying for the peace of his daughter’s departed soul.
“The Government has done whatever it can for my daughter. My daughter died due to her mental duress. She was not in her senses. I request everyone not to politicise the death of my daughter. All should pray for peace for the departed soul of my daughter,” he said in a video message.
The father’s emotional appeal comes amid widespread political storm in the State over the demise of the girl.
