Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a new world record with his stunning traditional boat sand art installation at the Bali Yatra 2025 festival in Cuttack, Odisha.
The intricate artwork, crafted using 12,000 areca nuts, 500 coconuts, and 1,100 diyas, has been certified by the World Records Book of India in collaboration with Dion Group. The feat has been officially certified by the World Records Book of India, celebrating Odisha’s rich maritime heritage in a truly artistic way.
Pattnaik’s masterpiece is a tribute to Odisha’s rich cultural heritage and glorious maritime past. The sculpture measures 50 feet in length and 30 feet in width, showcasing the artist’s exceptional skill and creativity.
Taking to his X handle, Pattnaik wrote: “Feeling Blessed.
