Bhubaneswar: In good news for the Odia cricket lovers, the Barabati International Cricket Stadium in Cuttack is going host a One-day International (ODI) match between India and England next year.

As per the fixture announced by the BCCI for Team India’s home season, the men in blue will take on England on February 09, 2025 at Barabati.

The Barabati stadium got the opportunity to host an international match after a gap of five years. The only international cricket stadium in Odisha had hosted a ODI in December 2019.

England will play five T20Is and three ODIs. Nagpur will host the first ODI while Cuttack will host the second one against India. The third ODI will be played at Ahmedabad.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced fixtures for the much-anticipated international home season of Team India (Senior Men) for 2024-25.

The international home season will kick off in September with a two-match IDFC First Bank Test series against Bangladesh, followed by a three-match T20I series. Chennai will host the first Test starting on 19th September while Kanpur will host the second Test from 27th September. The three T20Is will be played in Dharamshala, Delhi and Hyderabad.
