Betnoti College Students Win First Prize In Odisha Drug De-Addiction Short Film Contest

Bhubaneswar: Students of Betnoti Degree College, Mayurbhanj, secured the first position in the Short Film Competition on Drug De-addiction, organised by Lok Bhavan among higher educational institutions in Odisha.

The students were felicitated by Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati during the Vice-Chancellors’ Conference held at Lok Bhavan on May 31 (Sunday).

The award-winning short film is both moving and impactful, highlighting the harmful effects of substance abuse while conveying a strong message of awareness and social responsibility.

Congratulations to Betnoti Degree College, Mayurbhanj, for securing First Prize in the Short Film Competition on Drug De-Addiction organised by Lok Bhavan, Odisha.

Governor Kambhampati requested the media to give wide publicity to the film. He noted that such dissemination would not only encourage the students but also help spread awareness about the dangers of drug addiction among the public. As a powerful medium for reaching the masses, the media can play a vital role in amplifying this important social message.
