Bhubaneswar: In anticipation of possible law and order issues, the Bhadrak district administration has cancelled the leaves of district and administrative level officers during the Dola and Holi festivals.

The district Collector has issued a directive to this effect, instructing officials to remain at headquarters during the festivities.

The officials, including the Additional Collector, Sub-Collector, Tehsildar, and BDO, have been directed to be present at the headquarters, particularly during the three-day holiday period starting March 14, when Holi falls on March 15.

The Collector has emphasized the need for vigilance in preventing communal violence and maintaining law and order.
