Bhubaneswar: Petrol pumps across Odisha will remain open on the two days (March 28 and 29) during Bharat Bandh, Utkal Petroleum Dealers Association (UPDA) informed.
UPDA General Secretary Sanjay Lath said filling stations in the Capital City were shut only in Bhubaneswar to secure the premises from picketing while pumps remain open across Odisha.
On Tuesday, all petrol pumps will remain open in the Capital City as well, reports stated. Due to the impact of Bharat Bandh called by the Central Forum of Trade Unions, the petrol pumps in Bhubaneswar remained closed for a few hours today morning.
However, a few pumps opened to help consumers as the latter appealed to the staffers. However, most of the pumps were closed on Monday morning in Bhubaneswar, to avert any untoward incident.
