Under the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha has become a leading state in digitization of land records and public services through the implementation of 5T and ‘Mo Sarkar’ regulations.
Various measures have been taken to reduce as much as possible the personal presence of citizens in revenue offices and to limit the role of middlemen. By bringing online 34 major services provided by the department to citizens, people can apply and check status online. As many as 13,000 cases have been decided through the virtual court.
By the month of March 2024, steps will be taken to achieve 100% targets in all other districts of DILRMP in the state such as: computerization of land records, computerization of land maps, linkage of land records and maps, computerization of land records and sub-land records, networking of tehsil and land records offices and construction of modern record rooms. .
Teamwork based on the 5T and feedback from the public through ‘Mo Sarkar’ has made it possible to deliver better services.
