Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik will travel to New Delhi on April 10 to be with his elder brother, Prem Patnaik, who underwent a major heart surgery on April 7.
According to party sources, Prem Patnaik is currently recovering in a private hospital in Delhi under the supervision of a team of cardiologists. His condition is stated to be stable but requires close medical monitoring.
Naveen Patnaik, who has been in Bhubaneswar, is expected to spend a few days with his family members in the national capital during his brother’s recovery period.
