The Abhiyan aims to further strengthen passenger facilitation, service quality, safety, cleanliness, courtesy and overall passenger experience. A series of theme-based activities will be conducted during the period covering cleanliness and welcoming airport environment, parking and connectivity, passenger seating, facilities for PRM, Divyangjan and senior citizens, wayfinding and passenger information, baggage services, security facilitation and helpdesk services, potable water and essential amenities, and digital ease of travel including Digi Yatra, Wi-Fi and digital services.

The programme will also focus on ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ and promotion of Odisha’s art, culture, handicrafts and tourism, along with women, children and family-friendly facilities, passenger feedback and grievance redressal, and showcasing the airport as a gateway to local culture.

Further activities will include flight information and weather-readiness, Swachhata Diwas and Shramdaan on Gandhi Jayanti, green and sustainable airport initiatives, medical and emergency preparedness, and “Service with Smile” staff-behaviour initiatives focusing on courtesy, empathy and passenger-first service.
