Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Metro Rail project is currently under review by the Odisha government, Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra informed the state assembly on Tuesday.
In a written reply to a question by Rourkela MLA Sarada Prasad Nayak, Minister Mahapatra stated that an Inter-Ministerial Committee has been constituted to examine the project.
He added that the government will make a final decision on the project after reviewing the committee’s report and recommendations.
