Paradip: A biker was killed after a gas tanker ran over his motorcycle near the Zero Point in Odisha’s Paradip on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Prabhat Patra, a plumber in a private company in Paradip and a resident of Garajanga village in Kendrapara district.
According to reports, the accident took place when Prabhat was on his way to work inside Paradip Refinery.
While tension prevailed in the area after the accident, police sent Prabhat’s body for post-mortem and launched an investigation into the accident. The police have also seized the gas tanker but the driver managed to flee the accident spot.
