Bhubaneswar: Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas, the latter’s residence on Wednesday.
Sharing a post on his X handle (formerly Twitter) Patnaik informed that he had a wonderful discussion with Gates on Odisha’s technology-driven farmer empowerment initiatives, several welfare initiatives like Jaga Mission, Mission Shakti, School Transformation, BSKY and healthcare transformation.
In another post on his X handle, Patnaik appreciated Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for supporting innovation in extending inclusive benefits to people of Odisha.
Patnaik has thanked Gates for his praise for Odisha’s welfare initiatives and its success in different sectors through 5T transformative governance.
