Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik has announced new organizational appointments, aiming to strengthen the party’s grassroots network across Odisha.
Byomkesh Roy has been appointed as the Bhadrak district president, while Purnachandra Swain and Bhagaban Gantayat will serve as working presidents of Ganjam. Gouri Shankar has been named working president of Rayagada, and Raisen Murmu will take charge as working president of Mayurbhanj-2.
The party has informed through a press release.
The new appointments reflect the BJD’s strategy to reinforce its organizational structure.
