Bhubaneswar: The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday approved the names of its candidates for three Lok Sabha seats in Odisha.
According to an official press release of the BJP, the party has named Bhartruhari Mahtab as its candidate for the Cuttack Lok Sabha seat, while naming Sukanta Kumar Panigrahi for the Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat and Dr Rabindra Narayan Behera for the Jajpur (SC) Lok Sabha seat.
Mahtab, a six-time MP from Cuttack recently quit the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and joined the BJP.
