BJP To Sweep Lok Sabha, Assembly Elections In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The BJP is heading to sweep the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Odisha with a substantial lead in 19 of 21 seats on Tuesday.

Similarly, the saffron party has won 31 seats and is leading in 48 seats in the Odisha Assembly elections.

The ruling BJD has won 23 seats and is leading in 26 seats in the Odisha Assembly elections.

The Congress has won 3 seats and is leading in 10 seats in the Odisha Assembly elections.

Several BJP heavyweights like Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, party spokesperson Sambit Patra, national Vice President Baijayant Panda, ex-Union Minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi, and Aparajita Sarangi are leading from Sambalpur, Puri, Kendrapara, Balasore. and Bhubaneswar, respectively.

Notably, the BJP won just 8 Lok Sabha and 23 Assembly seats in Odisha in 2019.
