Bhubaneswar: On Friday, total 7 forms were sold to candidates aspiring for the Mayor post of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). With this, the total number of forms sold for Mayor’s post stood at 15.
Similarly, 210 Corporator election forms were sold on Friday taking to total number of forms sold to 581. Total 20 corporator candidates have duly submitted their forms before the competent authority.
Multiple queues and counters were in place for ensuring that the nomination filing process smooth. Additional District Magistrate and Election Officer PK Swain was supervising the entire process with the assistance of Commissionerate of Police.
