Angul: In a tragic incident, bodies of two infants were on Wednesday recovered from a well at Mundadhipa Sahi under Bantala police limits of Angul district.
The deceased are twins and were five month old. While one of the infants was a boy, the other was a girl.
According to reports, today morning while the two infants were sleeping in the house, their mother Tapaswini Sahu had gone to a neighbour’s house. Upon returning after a while she found the infants missing from their bed.
Family members frantically searched for the babies in vain. In the evening, body of one of the infant’s body was found floating in the well in the backyard of their house. After a search inside the well, body of the other infant was also retrieved.
