Berhampur: The body of a youth who went missing on December 13 has been traced at Daringbadi ghat road under Sorada police limits in Ganjam district, The deceased, identified as Hiten Swain of Bhejiput area in Bhanjanagar. According to reports, a few days back, Swain’s wife approached the police and reported her husband missing.
On wee hours of Sunday. Sorada police received information about a body lying abandoned in bushes along the Daringbadi ghat (road). Two teams from Bhanjanagar and Sorada police stations rushed to the spot and identified the body to be of Swain. The police suspect he has been murdered and his body disposed of. A case has been registered and a probe is underway.
