Bhubaneswar: Two women sustained serious injuries in yet another accident involving a Mo Bus at Chandrasekharpur BDA Square on Thursday evening, sparking widespread public concern over the safety of the city’s public transport system.

Eyewitnesses reported that the accident led to immediate chaos, with bystanders rushing to assist the injured. The incident has further fueled ongoing debates about the safety measures and operational reliability of the Mo Bus service, which has faced criticism following multiple similar accidents in recent months.

Local residents expressed strong resentment, questioning whether adequate safety protocols are in place to prevent such mishaps. Many have called for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations and improved driver training to ensure passenger and pedestrian safety.

The Mo Bus service, introduced to enhance public transportation in Bhubaneswar, has come under increasing scrutiny as concerns over its safety record continue to mount.

Citizens and local authorities are now demanding a thorough investigation into the recurring accidents and the implementation of stricter safety measures to prevent future incidents
