Bhubaneswar: The body of a youth was recovered under the Jharpada railway overbridge in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
The identity of the youth remains unknown, and police are working to determine the identity of the youth.
According to sources, locals spotted the body under the overbridge and immediately informed the police. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started probing the matter.
The body was seized and sent for autopsy to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar. The post-mortem report is expected to provide crucial clues in the case.
The Government Reserve Police (GRP), meanwhile, initiated an investigation. Police are probing whether the youth jumped off from the overbridge or was pushed by someone. Police are also collecting evidence from the crime scene to piece together the circumstances surrounding the death.
