Bhubaneswar: A bomb threat letter was discovered on a Delhi-bound flight at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, on Monday. The alarming letter was found on the aircraft just as it was preparing for take off.
Taking the threat seriously, airport authorities swiftly sprang into action. Passengers on board the flight were promptly asked to alight as a precautionary measure. A thorough inspection of the aircraft and its luggage was launched to ensure passenger safety, said sources.
As the investigation continues, the Delhi-bound flight has been delayed. Airport officials confirmed that the flight’s departure schedule has been pushed back, but did not provide a revised departure time till the last report came in.
