Nayagarh: Some unidentified miscreants hurled bombs and attacked the staff of a petrol filing station at Rajkiari chowk in Nayagarh district on Wednesday night.
Reportedly at around 8 pm, a car and scooty had arrived at the filing station. While a staff identified as Sangram Kesari Rout was fueling the vehicles, two persons got out of the car.
They attacked the petrol pump staff with sharp weapons and hurled bombs. They damaged the CCTV camera and looted around Rs 1.5 lakh from the staff.
On getting information, police reached the spot and initiated probe. The injured persons were admitted to Gania community health centre.
