Jharsuguda: Yet another polling personnel died while on poll duty for the Brajrajnagar bye election.
The deceased identified as Trilochan Mohanty, a home guard who was on duty at booth no. 238 in Lakhanpur block fell ill on Monday and was rushed to the district headquarters hospital here.
As Mohanty’s health condition deteriorated he was shifted to VIMSAR, Burla.
However, he passed away on the way to VIMSAR.
Mohanty was a resident of BTM Colony here.
It may be mentioned here that another polling personnel Second Polling Officer of booth no 169 Dilip Kumar Khadia had died while on duty on Monday.
