Bus Accident In Kandhamal’s Kalinga Ghati: 1 Dead, Several Injured

Bhubaneswar: A passenger bus, Shriram, met with an accident at Kalinga Ghati near Udayagiri in Kandhamal district early this morning, leaving one passenger dead and 10 others injured. The bus, which had left Bargarh the previous night, was heading to Berhampur when it crashed into the safety wall at around 4:20 am.

The deceased, a woman, has not been identified yet. The injured have been rescued and admitted to Bhanjanagar health centers. According to reports, there were 24 passengers on board, and the others had disembarked at various stops.

Udayagiri police and a fire tender unit from Bhanjanagar have reached the scene, and an investigation is underway.
