Bhubaneswar: Bus fares across all categories have been increased in Odisha following a constant rise in fuel prices, informed All Odisha Private Bus Owners Association Debendra Sahoo.
According to Sahoo, in the Ordinary category bus fare has been increased to Rs 0.90 per km. Earlier, it was Rs 0.87 km.
The per km bus fare in the Express category has been increased to Rs 0.94 as against Rs 0.91 earlier.
Similarly, the per km bus fare of Deluxe buses has been increased to Rs 1.31 from Rs 1.25 earlier.
Besides, the per km bus fare of AC Deluxe buses has been increased to Rs 1.59 from Rs 1.53 earlier.
Again, the per km bus fare of Super Premium buses has been increased to Rs 2.47 from Rs 2.38 earlier.
